Crops producer who supply Bali for organic vegetables, herbs and fruits. They work with novelty heirlooms and recently make their own hybrids. Forestry and botany background made him resourceful about plants. His previous works includes Zingiberaceae, Araceae and has been working with Orchidaceae since 12 years old for both breeding and conservation. He is a co-author of two orchid books "Native Orchids of Indonesia" and "Orchids of Sulawesi". Former R&D at Mekarsari Fruits Garden, the biggest fruit garden collection in the world just adds his vocabulary about fruit crops, include many forgotten tropical fruits and staples. His major background is plant physiology, germ plasma conservation and genetic improvement. Those three subjects are his main activities for almost the past 20 years. As family heritage, he is one of the few descendant who continue practicing and preserving the Javanese culture especially Surakarta classical court dance. Start from his family dance group, he went to few different teachers and ended up under Retno Maruti's apprenticeship, a Javanese classical dance maestro. Dance practice and exploration of his always associated with his current work, from beach to the forest, AND IN THE END HE SINGS LIKE AN ANGEL COMING FROM HEAVEN !
