This week we will testify the amazing story of Taina Angel Izquierdo a 19 years old half-Puerto Rican, half-Indonesian professional surfer, born and raised in Bali, Indonesia.

At the age of eight she learnt to surf, and at the age of 14 she joined the Rip Curl team and started competing professionally. She is now competing on the QS and aspires to be the first Indonesian female to qualify for the World Tour.

Taina talks openly about her own personal issues related with anxiety, negative self talk, body image and an eating disorder, while being an professional athlete. She speaks as well how her father as been her inspiration and biggest supporter.
